Reception (July, 30)

A reception will follow the conference opening ceremony. Both will take place at Teatro Municipal, the city’s Opera House. All conference participants are welcome.

Conference Dinner (August, 2) - SOLD OUT

Conference dinner will take place at one of the most famous barbecue restaurants in town, Porcăo Rio’s. Various kinds of meat will be served continuously, the so called “rodízio” system. A wide variety of salads, sea food and drinks will also be served. Music and dance will follow. Several Brazilian rhythms will be performed by the famous dancer Carlinhos de Jesus and his group. Dinner tickets cost R$ 140,00 (approx USD 60) per participant. The same applies to accompanying persons. Payment should be made simultaneously with that of the conference registration. A limited number of dinner tickets are available and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
