In order to answer recent inquiries concerning this issue, we would like to clarify that:

1- All accepted abstracts, either contributed or invited, will be published in the ISMP 2006 proceedings and distributed to participants during the conference.

2- The Mathematical Programming Society will be publishing a special issue of "MATHEMATICAL PROGRAMMING, Series B", devoted to contributions by plenary and semi-plenary speakers only.

3- There will be no special issue of any kind for the publication of contributions other than the ones in (2), above.
